My military career began at the United States Military Academy at West Point. After graduating as 2nd Lieutenant with a degree in computer science, I entered the armed services in the Signal Corps at Ft. Gordon, Georgia. I furthered my career at Ft. Hood, Texas earning the rank of 1st Lieutenant and ultimately ending my service as a Captain.
The Army has two primary messages -“Be all you can be” and “We do more in the morning than most people do all day”. Praxair is the epitome of these two messages. This was particularly appealing to me when I was considering joining the company. Praxair’s fast paced environment is a great place to work for anyone who wants to be challenged and encouraged to be their best.
Being a leader at Praxair is a great opportunity to share my knowledge and experience. I am a firm believer in 360o leadership - rolling up my sleeves and being directly involved ensures my team has the strategy, tactics and technology to be successful.
Praxair is also an environment that encourages giving back. As a member of the armed services, I have always been proud to serve others and the community. The same sense of pride that service members carry is easily integrated into work life at Praxair. Here, we are all Praxair Proud. We are proud of the way we serve our employees, our communities and our customers while being ecologically and socially responsible.
