Stargon Blends

At Praxair, we offer two different Stargon blends, Stargon CS and Stargon SS. Stargon CS blend is a precise mixture of argon (Ar), carbon dioxide (CO2) and oxygen (O2) and is a universal shielding gas for carbon steel welding applications. Stargon SS blend is a carefully controlled blend of argon, carbon dioxide and nitrogen that is designed for joining a wide variety of stainless steels. Find out more about these two blends below and see if they’re right for your operations.
