Praxair Electronics Announces Sureflow™ Bulk Specialty Gas Supply Systems
July 05, 2005
DANBURY, Conn., July 5, 2005 — Praxair Electronics, a subsidiary of Praxair, Inc. (NYSE:PX), in Orangeburg, NY, announces the new Sureflow™ Bulk Specialty Gas Supply (BSGS) system and controller, which will be introduced to the electronics market at next week's SEMICON West 2005 exposition, in San Francisco, CA.
Reliability, safety and performance are the driving factors behind Praxair's new SureFlow BSGS. BSGS systems are engineered to provide continuous supply of specialty gases used in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices, TFT-LCDs and LEDs. Praxair Electronics' dedicated gas engineers work with customers to provide custom system solutions that safely deliver high-flow rates, with the flexibility and redundancy required for increased reliability and to avoid single points of failure.
The latest enhancements provide greater reliability at lower cost of ownership:
- The SureFlow system, which includes automatic gas panels and a PLC controller, provides reliable, configurable control and system flexibility
- A BSGS redundant controller provides an automatic second-source switchover such that the controller is no longer a single point of failure
There will be a demonstration to show how Praxair customizes bulk gas delivery systems to fab-specific applications. Join us to learn how we model a gas distribution system tailored to your specific requirements.
Praxair Electronics offers a complete portfolio of bulk specialty gas systems for electronic specialty gases amenable to bulk supply, including ammonia, silane, nitrogen trifluoride, nitrous oxide and halocarbons.
