Praxair Releases 2011 Sustainable Development Report

DANBURY, CT, July 18, 2011 — Praxair, Inc. (NYSE: PX) has released its 2011 Sustainable Development Report outlining the company’s Sustainable Development Vision 2015 and reporting its annual accomplishments in the areas of economic, environmental and social responsibility.

In 2010, Praxair achieved its goal to improve greenhouse-gas intensity in hydrogen facilities, air separation units and distribution activities; generated $32.9 million in environmental benefits from productivity initiatives; and achieved its annual energy efficiency improvement target in capital project design.
