Praxair Named to CR Magazine's 100 Best Corporate Citizens ListTM for 2014

DANBURY, Conn., May 7, 2014 – Praxair, Inc. (NYSE:PX), a Fortune 250 company and a recognized global leader in sustainable development, has once again been named to Corporate Responsibility Magazine’s 100 Best Corporate Citizen’s List for its leadership and achievements in climate and environmental responsibility, employee engagement and diversity, and strong governance policies and practices. Praxair placed among the top 30 companies in the list, which is based on publicly available information of companies listed on the Russell 1000® Index.

IW Financial, an environmental, social and governance research firm, provided the data for this list, and the Corporate Responsibility Officers Association, a professional society focused on advancing corporate responsibility worldwide, established the methodology.
