Eduardo Galvan was appointed vice president of Global Operations Excellence and Development for Praxair, Inc. in 2010. He is responsible for global productivity, operations engineering and reliability, safety and environmental services, and sustainable development.
Galvan joined Praxair Mexico in 1985 as a maintenance supervisor. Over the years, he has held increasingly responsible roles, including bulk distribution national manager, operations & project manager for packaged gases, information technology director and finance director. In 2005, he was named operations director for Praxair Mexico and in 2007 became vice president, Operations and Services.
Galvan has a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.
