Fabricio Nunes was appointed assistant general counsel and chief compliance officer of Praxair, Inc. in 2014. He leads Praxair’s compliance organization and has accountability for all aspects of the global compliance program.
Prior to assuming his current role, Nunes was legal director and chief compliance officer for White Martins (Praxair's Brazilian subsidiary). Before that, he was an associate in the corporate department at the Patton Boggs law firm in Washington, D.C. from 2006 to 2008. Nunes began his career as a law firm associate and then was a legal manager at a Brazilian telecommunications company.
Nunes earned his law degree from Pontifical Catholic University (Curitiba, Brazil) in 1994 and earned a master of laws degree from Cornell Law School (Ithaca, NY) in 2006.
