Praxair has established a Sustainability Council, which will
implement these principles, oversee the integration of sustainability policies and initiatives,
establish goals, track progress and report periodically to the Praxair Board of Directors.
The council is composed of our senior business leaders and representatives of our Environmental,
Health and Safety, and Human Resources departments and outside representatives.
Praxair is a member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development,
participates in the Business Roundtable’s Climate RESOLVE program and the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency’s Climate Leaders program, and endorses the principles of human rights
referenced in the United Nations Global Compact.
